Gridcoin (GRC) is an open–source token obtained as a result of the Litecoin fork. It works with the help of the Proof of Research consensus mechanism, which allows cryptographically verifying computing tasks of the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) and receiving cryptographic tokens as a reward for completing tasks.

@SebastienGllmt I feel the same way, I have been running #BOINC projects for longer than I can remember.  $GRC was my first crypto back in 2014 and I still run a node today.  Onteested yo see if POuW could ever bridge the gap.
